GHC Heavyweight Champ Kenta Kobashi stated today that he would defend his GHC Heavyweight Title before the 4/18 Tokyo Dome show against Naoki Sano if the fans want him to do it. Kobashi also said that he wants to defend his title overseas and mentioned South Korea and the United States as places where he would like to go and wrestle. Kobashi mentioned that the WWE is coming to Japan in February and he hopes to meet with his old friend Johnny Ace while they are there and he wants to go out and have some drinks with him. Kobashi said that the rumors of NOAH wanting WWE representation on their Dome show is true and he hopes that his talk with Ace can help get the negotiations going and when asked which wrestler Kobashi would like to face from the WWE, he answered with Brock Lesnar. Kobashi also accepted Jun Akiyama's challenge to a tag match on 1/10 at Nippon Budokan Hall with both men choosing partners from their respective factions.>>
Now....
Kobashi Vs Sano would be cool, because I, like in New Japan, would like to see Kobashi fight other wrestlers than the Misawas, Akinyamas et all.
Kobashi going overseas with the GHC title I'd like to see where or who he wants to defend it against. This would be the ultimate time for Kobashi to prove that he is one of Puro's finest and a true fighting champion.
Having the WWE come in...Wow, that would be seriously cosmic to see Cena, Angle, Benoit (since he has wrestled in Japan), Booker T, HHH RVD et all doing some things with NOAH's finest.
Kobashi Vs. Lesnar: Am I the only one who would pay top dollar to see Kobashi and Lesnar go head up?
Any thoughts?

Kobashi vs. Lesnar would be great, but how about Kobashi/Angle or Kobashi/Benoit????
But the big question is would Vinnie Mac go for it.

With very few exceptions, I think that the only real dream matches left (the ones you never thought you'd get to see and always wanted to see) are between Japanese stars and WWE stars. The trouble of course is that very, very, very few others would care to see this, at least in the U.S.
I would think that if Angle or Brock or whoever approached Vince and asked his permission to work 1 NOAH show, I don't really see any particular reason for Vince to refuse as long as 1) Vince gets paid and 2) Vince gets some input in the outcome of the matches. While this is still a long shot in my view, I don't see any obstacles that can't be overcome if the parties involved really want to do it.
That being said, I see zero chance of this being promoted as a big occurrence on WWE TV. At most, someone might come in to work 1 match on Raw or Smackdown, but more likely Michael Cole, or whoever, will simply make a small mention of the fact that Lesnar (for example) recently had a match in Japan and that's about it.

Even though it's not likely to happen, I'd love to see WWE wrestler on a NOAH card or a NOAH wrestler on one of WWE's Japanese shows. I don't think Kobashi could sell over here, but it wouldn't hurt the WWE to have him on a card over there or vice versa.
My personal WWE vs. NOAH dream match is Triple H vs. Kenta Kobashi (though Triple H wouldn't want to take all the neck bumps, I still think the match would be good). Lesnar and Angle would be good matches for Kobashi as well, and they are more suplex based guys, but I think Triple H vs. Kobashi would be the best.
Although it may be a bit of a style clash, I would like to HBK VS. Kobashi. I think that could be a very interesting match. Also, how about Bill Goldberg VS. Misawa? Could be good too.
