I think Kobashi will drop the title to Akiyama. I feel the timing will be right for the change.

True. We can also expect Liger to lose the GHC Jr title as well.

Personally I don't want Kobashi to lose the belt. But I have a gut feeling that he will lose it to Akinyama.

Is it me or should someone else other than Kobashi, Akinyama and Misawa should have a run with the belt? I'm not trying to whine but, isn't it time to create new stars other than Yoshinari "I got lucky and was able to hold on to the GHC Heavyweight title in a reign everyone has forgotten about" Ogawa?

Any thoughts?

Akiyama had a run w/ the GHC and was a hprrible draw as champ. But this has become a game of diminishing returns. Who else have they elevated to carry that strap? Noone stands out. There is no gaijin ready to make a serious challenge either. I see this as having booked themselves into a corner. If Kobashi does not drop it to Akiyama then who to? It is apparent an outsider is not going to capture the strap (that is not a bad thing, I shudder at the prospects of Sapp or Choshu gainig the GHC). So if not to Akiyama, then to whom?

Well if I had to suggest one person (don't laugh) Takuma Sano. Somone else said they would like to see Sano go on a run with the CHC title, and I would too.

A foreigner wouldn't be so bad, 2 Cold Scorpio would get my nod.

But if you had to have a NOAH guy hold it, then Takuma Sano is my pick.

thats not a bad idea. I'd personally like to see him as ghc champ too. But realistically hes not going no be selling out arenas and he's not a well known wrestler. I dont know what NOAH can do. They are gonna be ok for short term but long term it looks like a disaster
