    Who will defeat Kobashi???

I know I asked this question on a similar poll a year ago...

But who will be the one to defeat him...
I have lot all my respect for my namesake...there I would like to be known as WilliamsFan from now on...I feel disgraced with the name of Edge on me...

I think I can make the following deduction after today's Dome show result: It obviously isn't Akiyama.

look for kawada to challenge kobashi in the press and then expect kawada to hold both the triple crown and ghc and then lose them both to either misawa or mutoh and then look for mutoh vs. misawa. Mutoh is smart and knows that the dream match we all want to see is misawa vs mutoh and to save all japan, he will do it.

I do not mean to disrespect you, so please do not take it as such. But I do not really believe that Mutoh is all that smart business wise. If he was, AJPW would not be on the skids now, and Goldberg would have never have been scheduled to beat Kawada for the TC.

actually, i do think mutoh is a smart business man but i don't think that he knows the wrestling business in and out like misawa. I think that he recognizes that and misawa does too. i think that misawa realizes that he is getting older and could keep aj and noah going and mutoh could be the worker to give it class and a huge fan base.

I'll go for either Mutoh or Kawada.

At this point, I really don't see what "good" could come from having a NOAH wrestler defeat him. It would look weak if it were Scorpio, Sano, Rat Boy, or odd if Takayama came back to win.

This leaves Akiyama, Misawa, or an outsider. Is Misawa such an egomaniac that he'll book himself to win this? Does't he understand that he needs to push a younger star? Maybe he does, but sees the $$$ coming from a Kawada match.

I'd love to see Kobashi lose to Misawa, and then set up Misawa vs. Kawada... Or Kawada vs. Kobashi, or Mutoh vs. Kobashi. Many possibilities!

Mutoh/Kobashi would of been gold about 5 years ago...But it could probably still draw now...

Did we ever get a reason why the purposed Mutoh - Kawada TC bout was replaced with the 'epic' Kawda - Jamal bout?
