On SSS: NOAH, 8/1/04 (NTV/G+)
Aichi Prefectural Gymnasium
1. WLW Heavyweight Title: Daisuke Ikeda (c) vs. Rick Steiner
Can Steiner make it in NOAH???
I have lot all my respect for my namesake...there I would like to be known as WilliamsFan from now on...I feel disgraced with the name of Edge on me...
I always liked Rick better, especially Scott became the steroid freak.

Well the WWE has yanked any and all info about Scott off of the RAW superstars brand. He either may go to TNA...or return and finish his career in Japan.

Steiner and the word "retire" just doesn't seem to go hand in hand. Steiner is still trying to prove he is still the best and at the top of his game. He has done it all so what else is there left to do?

Rikishi has better conditioning that Steiner does. The dude can't last a match... he was winded at the end of the last WCW match with Booker, and the guy was champion then. Steiner looked good as a champ. Talked good as a champ. Wrestled like an average wrestler.

I'll have to agree with Haiku on that. He looked pretty cool, was great on the mik, but his skills pretty much went away 2 or 3 years before his run. I haven't enjoyed seeing him in the ring since his turn on Rick during the nWo feud...
Rick should be able to be succesful in NOAH. I mean c'mon the guy has been mostly succesful everywhere he's gone, except in TNA & IWA (Puerto Rico)... But he wasn't succesful in TNA or IWA, because he was only brought in a couple of times.
1. Jun Izumida, Tsuyoshi Kikuchi & Kishin Kawabata beat Masao Inoue, Makoto Hashi & Kotaro Suzuki (15:09) when Kikuchi used the Fireball bomb on Suzuki.
2. Naomichi Marufuji & KENTA beat Mohammed Yone & Go Shiosaki (11:22) when KENTA used a Busaiku knee kick on Shiosaki.
3. Takeshi Rikio, Yoshinobu Kanemaru, Takashi Sugiura & Masashi Aoyagi beat Richard Slinger, Juventud Guerrera, Ricky Marvin & Trevor Rhodes (13:46) when Rikio used a lariat on Rhodes.
4. Yoshinari Ogawa beat Tamon Honda (4:15) with an inside cradle.
5. Yoshihiro Takayama beat Takuma Sano (10:45) by referee stop.
6. WLW Heavyweight Title: Rick Steiner beat Daisuke Ikeda (c) (11:12) with a Death Valley bomb to become the 14th champion.
7. Kenta Kobashi beat Bison Smith (17:04) with a brainbuster.
8. GHC Hardcore Openweight Title: Jun Akiyama (c) beat Akitoshi Saito (7:05) by KO (3rd defense).
9. Mitsuharu Misawa vs. Akira Taue went to a draw (30:00) when the time limit expired.
So Steiner wins....The main event looks pretty good, maybe a throwback match...

I've read that Scott Steiner invested his money very well so that he would be able to retire comfortably. I hope so, and that Rick has enough money to retire, because neither Steiner brother should be allowed in a ring ever again.
