Omori runs off the ropes hit a enzuilariat while hes not facing you, then bounce back off the ropes then hit a lariat while hes facing you.

Axe Bomber is a version of lariat. You bend your arm and hit the opponent's face or neck with your forearm and elbow. Very similar to a lariat, but if you watch Ohmori carefully, he bends his arm vertically. Originated and made famous by....none other than Hulk Hogan.

    Maybe

I was always told Hogan started it, but then again, that was when I believed everything they said on TV and magazines.

Well one things for sure, if Hogan didn't start it, he at least was one of the first (if not THE first) person to do it. But I recall hearing about Larry Hennig using it.....my don't quote me on that.

You mean Hogan DIDN'T really train Minoru Tanaka? Oh boy...

Anyway, this is one of those topics I've heard contradicting stories on. I always thought Hogan invented the Axe Bomber, as I'd read that a number of places, but I too was recently told that Larry Henning used to use it before Hogan. Guess we'll never know for sure, but at least we know they were both (as DangerousBD said) one of the first ones to use it!

Well technically you don't need to know anything other than "punch, kick, big boot, leg drop" as long as you say your prayers, eat your vitamins and ....what was it....oh yeah. Get on the G-A-S lol

you know...if hogan wore a cloak to the ring...he could be the next friar tuck.....

not that has anything to do with the discussion....

p.s. I assume Larry Henning was nicknamed "The Axe" for a reason......

"you know...if hogan wore a cloak to the ring...he could be the next friar tuck....."

Wow, let's hope Vince embarasses him and gives him this gimmick! Nash and Hall could be twisted versions of Robin Hood, stealing TV time from the young and giving to the has-beens...

    ...or maybe not...

But yeah, I guess Larry Henning's nickname must have been to do with him using the axe bomber, I just wish I could remember where I'd read this debate once before so I could check it out again. Ah well, I think we've got it pretty much covered now anyway!
