This IS Mitsuharu Misawa we are talking about right? The man who won't put Kawada over him, THE Mitsuharu Misawa?

Well now perhaps we see why he won at the Dome against Kawada. If Kawada had defeated him, then the fans would have thought Kawada deserved the title shot. By beating Kawada, Misawa set himself up to be the number one contender so that he could lose to Rikio, thus making him look all the better. You people have no faith

That's a heck of a lot of BS!

Misawa went over Kawada because he's a jerk, and Kawada let it happen because he only cares about money now.

This is wrestling we're talking about. If Misawa lost to Kawada this wouldn't have changed a thing other than have a few people have a little more respect towards Misawa

Either way, and I agree completely with Luds and Kwill, had Kawada won fans would have been clamoring for Kawada/Rikioh and we all know Rikioh would not have let Kawada beat him, or should we say Misawa would not have.

And Misawa is Puro's answer to Triple H, although I'm wondering why he let Batista go over but that's another story another life, if it's no good or not good for the company or him, it's trash.

Either way I'm shocked Misawa actually put Rikioh over.

Yea, nevermind the fact that he hasn't held the big belt in almost two and a half years. I think you all are so tainted by your hatred of Misawa that you can't even recognize when he knows what he is doing I still wish he had beaten Rikio..... useless wrestler.

Reviews on that show are out and fans are saying that the Misawa vs. Rikio match sucked... because of Misawa's bad performance...

I guess he figured he didn't need to put much effort into it as he had to job...

I just got done watching it. They did botch one move pretty bad, although it looked like Rikio simply lost his grip on Misawa and they had to re-do the spot. Re-doing spots is never a good thing.

It wasn't a bad match, but it wasn't great either. Course, when one wrestler is broken and the other worker doesn't know how to wrestle a big-match style, that can be a problem. I shudder to think what Rikio/Taue will look like.

Well that's why Taue never made it to the next level.

    Misawa, Kawada, Kobashi all have.

But Taue only looked like Gold when wrestling any of these 3.

So Taue - Rikio might not be very good.

What a waste of a Misawa job. Instead of jobbing to someone with some heat, he goes down to Rikio, who really isn't pulling it as the champion. I predict Misawa will put the belt on someone else before too long.

Totally agree with you there. Im not huge on Misawa for the simple fact that he rarely put people over. Ahhhh Taue vs Rikioh, just let Taue get the title...Rikioh needs to go on a excursion.
