Finally got around to ordering mine. Should have it in a couple of weeks hopefully.
The first one was fantastic.
I see there's a Rusher Kimura DVD as well.
I wish they would release more of this old footage. The quality is awesome. I have the Tag League and Kobashi box sets as well. I'd love to see a Champion Carnival one, and a Jumbo Tsuruta one. I'd get a Giant Baba one as well if it ever came out.
Sadly I still haven't even gotten around to getting the first set whether alone the 2nd one. In US Dollars both are over $150 and that's definitely a huge asking price, but I assume it's definitely worth it considering how well the quality is probably includes awesome bonuses too. I've seen 10+ disc Misawa dvd sets for more then half of the price of these but I can most likely guarantee the quality would be no where good as these official dvd's.
I hear there's two Misawa books? I saw them on PRO WRESTLING NOAH OFFICIAL STORE. One of them is an autobiography or something I believe by Misawa himself? I'd love to get an English translation of both but I don't think we'll ever see one.
Where do you live? If in New York City or Los Angeles area, you may be able to find region 1 copies of NOAH DVDs at Japanese video rental stores.
There are obviously more than two Misawa books. I believe there are two written by him, one written by a journalist according to the perspective of Misawa's widow, and few others.
I live in Pennsylvania, sadly I don't believe there are any stores like that around where I live.
From what I hear you're correct there's tons of books about him. Are there any that are in english or have the possibility of being translated into english in the future? I'd love to read the autobiography but I have the feeling that will never see the light of day here in the US.
