    Ohtani and Tanaka....

These 2 guys are the Tag Team of the New Millenium...

The Only world travelling tag team that can put on incredible Matches wherever they go... UPW, ROH, NOAH, AJPW, they should have worked the Dome show for New Japan.

There isnt a Tag Team that can compare to them as far as Impact and Match Quality.

Zero-One is lucky to have this Duo as representitives who travel and make Z-1 look stronger by putting on great matches in other groups.

In 2000 he was sent abroad to the United Kingdom to gain weight. He competed as Mr. Otani and won the UWA/UWF Intercontinental heavyweight title. He returned in January 2001 as a full-fledged heavyweight, received a shot at IWGP champ Sasaki, then decided to leave with Hashimoto rather than suffer what happened to Sasaki shortly thereafter (jobbing over and over to Inoki's punks and get lost in the New Japan shuffle).

Ohtani also spend some of that time right here in Canada eh!

This may be a silly questions but...

... what promotion recognized the Intercontinental title he won? I'm assuming it was in the U.K. , but I'm just wondering if this a title of any real importance or widespread recognition in Europe and who else may have won this title in the past .

    Thanks!
