ZERO-ONE has a new United National title belt. Masato Tanaka won it on the 31st defeating Steve Corino. He will defend this belt on 02/29 vs. The Gladiator.

My question is what is the difference between this title and the United National belt in the Triple Crown????

the diffrence is that this is the NWA United National Title while the the AJPW version (if you wanna think of it as an active title) has no NWA affiliation. remember: All-Japan left the NWA in the 80s.

The whole deal with the WORLD1 Title & NWA United National... What's the difference (besides the obvious). Tanaka has both; the WORLD1 is the title for (duh) WORLD1 but what about the NWA United National title that has popped up in Z-1. A spin from the old title that is now involved in the Triple Crown? A new title? Why this one for Z1 at this time? Where's Dan when I need him?

Z-1 can have a UN title just like both the WWF and FMW had World martial-arts title. The best way to distinguish is the NWA UN (Z-1) Heavyweight title and AJPW UN Heavyweight title. There is no copyright on the title's name.

One to Remember, can I ask you one thing, do you look at the date of the threads you post in...this title has now been abandoned since 0-1 left the NWA...
