Zero-One, though having former New Japan wrestlers, is NOT a division of New Japan. It was formed when Hashimoto was "kicked" out of NJ and Shinjiro Otani & Tatsuhito Takaiwa followed him. Aside from them, other native stars are Kohei Sato (UWF-style heavyweight) and Naohiro Hoshikawa (former Michinoku and Osaka junior shooter).
Doesn't Zero One have different organisations for different things? I remember Meltzer saying something that the Zero One PPV's are done by another organisation. I can't remember it very well and Meltzer wasn't very clear about it - can anyone clear that up?

Antonio Inoki is no longer a NWA member, Zero-One and Hashimoto are. Inoki split with Zero-One a few months ago. That's why Zero-One has NWA Intercontinental tag team title.
Thats what I initially thought as well, but I'm still being told that Inoki is the official member of the NWA in Japan. I'm not 100% sure though. Thanks for the input!
