Ohtani taking over Zero-One...

Shinjiro Otani announced today that he plans on taking over ZERO-ONE when Shinya Hashimoto has to have his shoulder surgery and he will mold it in his image. Otani said that he and Kohei Sato are going to make a new ZERO-ONE and they want to start on 8/15 at Korakuen Hall where they want to challenge Yoshiaki Fujiwara & Shinya Hashimoto for their NWA Intercontinental Tag Titles.

I agree, but now you have Kohei Sato and Otani talking about taking over Zero-One, this will be a battle to see.

Just read over at Strong Style Spirit (props to Kris Z), that Masato Tanaka and a few other Z-1 wrestlers would revolt against Otani if he indeed becomes "the man" in Zero One. We got another Internal feud about to break out.

i assume storyline takeover. tanaka has been feuding with otani in the apache troop heavys vs otani and the jrs storyline before the fire festival

Otani is the best wrestler in Z1 at the moment, it's normal they put some spotlight on him.

is it me or is zero one really just a third rate company trying to act like a puro powerhouse? I like otani and tanaka but thats really the only thing i see that they have over any other company and that isnt enough to even be as good as all japan. I like the fact that they bring in gaijin wrestlers to give a chance too but i hate the fact that gaijin wrestlers are going to such a weak company... hooray to low ki for moving on to noah.

"Shinjiro Otani announced today that Osamu Namiguchi would be his 5th man in the Tug of War match on 9/12 at Korakuen Hall and after he made that announcement, he was jumped by Ryouji Sai/Yoshito Sasaki/Kohei Sato/Hirotaka Yokoi and they left him laying. The Sato Army also threw Namiguchi off the roof of the ZERO-ONE Dojo, but he survived."

I would say that I am not touching that with a 60 foot pole, but this is getting worse and worse.

well when hash was around imo zero one was right on the line between being the smallest major company and being the largest indy company.

Without hash you are absolutely right. Imo they are an indy without an identity. Due to the fact that around half of its roster is representing other companys (world japan, apache troop, all japan)
