More Bad News for Zero One...

News coming out is that Hashimoto refused to have shoulder surgery and is satisfied with offers from new japan for quick cash. Rumor has it that hashimoto plans on jumping ship and coming back to new japan. Ohtani is sticking with the boss and have even gone to the point of saying that if hashimoto doesnt leave, that they might leave, and make a new company. This is just more bad news for zero one but possibly great news for wrestling in japan. All the bad news of the past 4 or 5 months now; ohtani's eye, hashimoto's shoulder, chosyu leaving, hoshikawa, and now this. I wouldnt be suprised to see zero split or just drop within the next 6 months.

I think AJ would benefit the most from this.

Personally I think the only person that benefits from Shinya is ...wel Shinya. He refuses to put people over clean, and is selling out all those who stuck with him when this Inoki expirament went awry.

i used to like him a lot. now i hope nj puts him in the ring with someone like fujita whos gonna beat on his flabby hides. he ran from nj when it became obvious that he couldnt beat ogawa and now he's running from 0-1 coz the promotion is goin into the drink...

yeah, aj probably would get the best of this whole thing. They already book quite a few gaijins and with corino and joe and the others, aj would become pretty tough and not to mention if tanaka and ohtani showed up too. Oh and don't forget killer/takaiwa... (no pun intended, seriously).

I like the idea of Mutoh, Chono and Hashimoto re-uniting, but seriously, he's a bastard!

Well in a different note today, ohtani announced that hashimoto has OFFICIALLY left Zero One. I dont know what happens with this but... its looking more and more like zero one will close its doors by the end of next year.

I am speaking about myself and my beliefs here, so no one take offense please.

The famed 3 muskateers, who were going to carry NJ into the 21st century w/ leadership and dignity. The 3 that were going to show the world that NJ iis superior to all. Under the leadership of Choshu, and the self sacrifice of Hase, these 3 were going to change the pairity and settle the famed question of who was a superior promotion not only in Japan, but under Inoki's vision,of world domination, then a funny thing happened on the way.
Now all three have exposed themselves to have the same ego's and refusal to put over as the American's we turned away from, because the 3 'teers were suppose to be different. Harde working, willing to wait their turn, and willing to put aside the egos that made the promotion special. Yet all three became superman in their own promotion, are we really better off now that Mutoh, Chono and Hashimoto are ready to reunite?

If they do who will be Hase enough to sacrifice the self for the good of the others? Because all three have tried to become Inoki-esque.

well i am not disagreeing with you dan, its true. Ego's have gotten in the way of wrestlers in the past even in the best guys. Something big is going to happen though with new japan. You can count on that.

....can you hear that? It sounds like the toilet flushing on New Japan. Maybe they can use a plunger and unclog all the crap!

I still wonder to this day what was the reason for Hash leaving? Was it the fact Sasaki went back home to New Japan and he wanted to go back "home" or did the whole Hustle thing just tire him out? I, IMHO, do not believe he retired or anything.
