Shooters' Ears

I've recently watched Pride 22 on PPV and i noticed a LOT of the fighters have some kinda bloated, strange looking ears.

What's with that?

Sounds like cauliflower ear, and I belive hard blows to the ears will cause it. Makes sense, given the alarming rate that shootfighters get knocked in the head.

Not only the blows. Judokas and wrestlers usually get it from headlocks and other ground/grappling techniques.
