    PRIDE Wins $10M Infringement Suit vs RF Video

    Today's Weekly Gong reported that recently PRIDE won in a lawsuit against an American video company "R.F video" who illegally produced and sold PRIDE pirate videotapes. The court judged the president Robert Feinstein to pay PRIDE compensation for damage of ten million dollars within five years divided two million dollars per year. It is said that PRIDE has had huge amount of deficit for past few years and this compensation can be recouped these deficit for the organization.

    Okay, info coming in little pieces. Meltzer said it was months back and was settled and the amount was far less. But what I quoted turns out wasn't in Gong, it was in the 'Weekly Fight' newspaper, #1794, the 12/12/02 issue. Don't know if it's the same deal Meltzer was talking about or not. And all PRIDE tapes seem to have mysteriously disappeared off RF's website. Stay tuned...
