Personally I want the Croatian to pull it out to simply end the madness that is Sapp. Not to mention it could kill the future of the abomination that is W-1

Or it could start CroCopMania, with Mirko headlining Tokyo Dome shows....
It'll be a big test of Mirko's tactical skills and I think he'll deliver again.
I expect a remake of Sapp vs Hoost 2, minus the big mistake of trying to slug it out at the end.
As for CroCopmania... He'd need to win the K-1 World GP.
I agree with Dr. Feelgood. He would be a bigger deal yes, but does not have the marketing machincebehind him that Sapp does. He'd be bigger name value wise, but to put him over the top he has to win the K-1 GP.
AND he has to be willing to eat raw beef, AND climb the Tokyo Dome, AND do zany commercials, AND release a music record, AND be able to speak in a loud, booming voice demanding for dessert after eating a printed picture of his opponent.
Oh, and to sign on a movie deal for a possible Japanese romance flick.
If CroCop would do that, then he'd be over with the Japanese audience. I swear it!
Cro-Cop is overrated. Against Silva I was expecting to see this great Croatian kickboxer. Dude didn't come close enough to even connect with Glass Jaw Vanderlai. [a line deleted by admin]
Long time, no post Colin
My take is that CroCop fought a defensive fight against Silva, which was a smart move considering he would have lost out if it went to the ground. Vanderlei would have won the decision had there been one IMO.
I don't agree with the assessment that Silva has a glass jaw either, but I seem to remember we've had that topic before.
Since this fight is happening at a K-1 event, I'm assuming that this will be a kickboxing match as opposed to MMA rules. Either way, Filipovic is going down.

You guys are selling him short, I think.
He's taken out Mark Hunt and Jerome LeBanner (even if it was a while ago), the latter probably being a greater threat in the K-1 ring than Sapp.
