    Hey:

    A well thought-out, engaging post.

Sakuraba claims he's "about 80% right now" and has been "overeating and overdrinking lately". Schrembi doesn't appear to be a threat, but Saku shouldn't underestimate anyone and I hope he starts training seriously.

Hey...I was hoping to find some others opinions on the match- up...but I guess it wasn't that simple to see for some people...anyway...Sakuraba always has this same sort of attitude towards other wrestlers...true...he is not 100%...but from my recollection...he has been fighting on a hurt knee for quite sometime...many may say it is worse off now...which is probably true...but the Machine will take out Schrembri...he always finds a way to take out his opponents...especially ones named Gracie...or ones that are titled..."The reincarnation of Rickson Gracie"...heh Sak= Machine.

You guys are selling Nino off pretty lightly
Have you even seen him fight?
He'll give Sakuraba a very hard time on the ground. If Sak's thigh isn't healed he'll find it very hard to take Nino down and handle him. Nino himself is coming off a long injury (with a minor victory over Daiju Takase in PRIDE's B show "The Best"), so that'll be something of an unknown too.

All in all, it's pretty good booking (the whole card is excellent!), and how better to see whether Sak can still conjure up the magic of his glory days than pitting him against a talented BJJ practitioner and Renzo Gracie disciple.

I sure have. While the armbar over Oliveira was decent, Schembri has yet to be truly tested by the likes of Sakuraba. I can't see him winning this fight...unless, of course, Sak keeps downing pasta and Sapporo every night instead of training.

Sakuraba will def. be ready in terms of training...I am sure by the time the fight comes around his body will be in shape when it comes to dieting and all that stuff...however...it is his leg I am worried about. But...then I keep thinking that about his past and I just cannot forget the fact that his mat skillz are just awesome. So I am hoping Sak rips him apart and disgraces him like the other Gracies...too bad Sak never got a fight with Rickson...it would be really cool to see them go at it.
