UFC 43 Ken Shamrock will face Ian Freeman. This is Ian's highest profile match. For Shamrock it could be the most important, due to the accumulation of injuries and age while trying to prove he can come back from the Tito whipping.
I agree with you Muiyan, but wrestlers and fighters always have something in them that makes them continue.
I predict, for one that Shamrock will win.
I have lot all my respect for my namesake...there I would like to be known as WilliamsFan from now on...I feel disgraced with the name of Edge on me...
Muiyan- to the best of my knowledge Shammy is straddling the fence on shooting vs. working. He wants the big bucks but knows his body has little left to give against younger, faster opponents with new techniques. I am not by any means calling him out dated; but as I have learned through my training the sport evolves at a very quick rate.
Shamrock faces Iizuka at the big New Japan show in May. It's worked match though, not Vale Tudo, and Shamrock is now in the Makai Club. I was joking because Iizuka has no chance of going over Shamrock in his debut match.
I have seen the face of Satan, and his name is Bill Apter.

Good thing then that Ian Freeman isn't that fast, doesn't have any techniques Ken won't have seen before... and is only barely younger.
but, is the rumor that Ortiz signed with WWF is true or not.

I'm sorry, but I have to say this. Shamrock is going to get ripped a new one! If I've heard how good Freeman is then, Shamrock is going to get killed. I've watch some of Shamrock's recent fights and he gases and gets mauled. Look at the Ortiz fight.
Freeman isn't that good contrary to what that lightning KO of Frank Mir suggests. He was PATHETIC against Arlovski, who's not exactly top of the range.
Shammy took Frye's shots pretty well, so I'm guessing he can take Freeman's long enough to take him to the ground and finish him. Freeman's no ironlung either.
If they needed to pit him against an Englishman, Ken would have been in much bigger trouble with Mark Weir.
