Bob Sapp VS Mike Tyson

K-1 ran their August 15th show in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Bellagio Grand Ballroom. Mike Tyson and Michael Jordan were in attendance. After the the main event, victorious Bob Sapp challenged Mike Tyson from the crowd. Tyson tried to get into the ring, and Sapp tried to charge him. A bunch of officials tried to separate the two, and Tyson said that he would take on Sapp tonight. The crowd was red hot for the angle and there were audible "Tyson" chants. Chants for Sapp as well. What in the?

This is an interesting fight. Tyson needs only one punch. Sapp has to kick Tyson in the leg and then, Tyson will fall like a deck of cards... hehehe...

But Bob is a big target... Tyson will dodge Sapp's punch, throw a hook, and while Sapp falls to the ground, Tyson will bite his ears and shout: "THAT'S FOR WHAT YOU DID TO KIMO!!!"

Botha, Butterbean, McNeeley and Tyson. K1 is definately trying to get some of the U.S. Boxing audience behind them as they attempt to cross the Pacific into the American Public's minds. But this is definately just a way for Bob Sapp to get put over for the U.S. audience. In Japan he's already the feared Beast, a win over Iron Mike, even worked, gives him a much needed boost as a legit tough man and celeb for the American public, at least before his movies are to come out.

Personaly, I think that it would Rejuvinate Tyson's Career. Since promoters like Don King & boxing judges have put such a black eye on one of the oldest shoot fighting styles( Boxing). It would give Tyson the chance to reclaim the mantle of "Baddest Man on The Planet". Give Bobby Sapp the True exposure that He can use. It would also give K-1 the American exposure that it needs.

It'll turn K-1 into even more of a circus than it already is.
If Tyson, Botha and other prominent pro boxers are to be brought in for big money matches and under big contracts to bolster K-1's profile in the US, they'll become "protected" assets much like Bob Sapp.
Too bad, if I could see Aerts, Hoost or the best kickboxers chopping Iron Mike down, and Iron Mike embarrassing Bob Sapp, he would give LeBanner and Mirko an interesting fight, I think.

As if this rubbish wasn't enough, K-1 have also bought us their brand on MMA: Sapp vs Gamlin...
Can japanese justice PLEASE put Ishii behind bars ASAP and cut any means of contact with the outside world before he does any more damage.

Hmmm... Ken Shamrock vs Mike Tyson... I think that's pretty lopped-sided...

I think there's no question in a Bob Sapp - Mike Tyson match that if Tyson can connect his hook on Sapp's big head, Sapp will come down like a giant tree... If Sapp kicks Tyson... Tyson's legs will fold like a deck of cards.

IMO, this match can still go either way. It's who gets who first. This is assuming K-1 rules. If it was MMA, I think Tyson will most likely win.
