    Talking Losing weight

Any good ideas on how to lose weight and tone muscle but stay strong? I weigh around 217 right now and I wanna weigh about 190. I fought in a cage fight a while back and won against this 325lbs. guy who lifted weights and crap. Even though I beat him(via rear naked choke) he still beat the @#!% out of me! So I dont want to have to fight in that weight division ever again.

That's a tough one... When you lose weight, usually, you're going to lose muscle mass. The only way I would try this would be to have a large protein income while doing lots of cardio exercises and having 12-15 reps for muscular training. I am not a trainer though but I do train and this is what I ask for (to lose weight but not muscle mass). The answer I got was that it's near impossible because, like I said, if you lose weight, you're going to lose fat & muscle mass and when you gain weight, you're gaining both too.

    Hope this helps,

    Nick
