I really want to see that he is go na fight against Rickson Gracie.

Has any one heared any news concerned with this possible fight?

I heard Rickson is currently busy with some movie deal. I don't know the detail, though.

Also, he had a personal problem when he lost his son in NY several months ago. Since then, he hasn't really made any significant comments concerning his future fights.

I've managed to miss his PRIDE fights but I've heard plenty of talk, sure...

... but he DID legitimately win the Bronze in Judo at the '96 Olympics, so he's real at least...

Actually, he won a silver in Barcelona(92) and was placed 5th in Atlanta(96). He also won the world championship in three times in a row (87, 89, and 91).

He started judo around 83 or 84 and won the world championship only a four years later. Now, that's something.

What exactly happened between the negotiations between Ogawa vs Takada for PRIDE 17? I read Ogawa didn't want to do a legit shoot the same situation that happened with him and Inoki's new year show so things fell through.

As for Rickson vs Ogawa, I think people much rather see Rickson vs Sakuraba. Not to many MMA fans are big on Ogawa yet alone all the accusations of "works" with his fight.
