Good *** was that something that Severn - Shamrock fight? I can't believe that Frye didn't give up! I guess that Shamrock didn't really have that ankle locked that well...
Is it me or that fight was a tie, 50/50 right down that middle? I think I would like a rematch!
it was a good fight, IMO I wouldn't actually say it was 50/50 down the line, it was close but I have to give the edge to Frye for rocking Shamrock and dropping him and also that good flurry of punchs after dropping Shamrock. Shamrock had more submission attempts but he couldn't finish off Frye, I definately wouldn't mind seeing a rematch. The whole thing that irritates me is a lot of people speculate this fight was a work but I truely doubt that.
some people, particulary the non-japanese PRIDE fans are quick to jump to the outcome of certain fights involving certain individuals as a work, which i think really sucks.
I knew that Frye and Shamrock had "beef." But when Ken Shamrock and Frye had there scuffle at the press conference Shamrock said something about Frye talking about his family. What was said that made Shamrock so angry?
Shamrock mentioned during an interview that Frye was saying that Shamrock was avoiding him and had done so for a while... I don't remember anything about the family...
Shamrock and Frye certainly have the talent and (pro-wrestling) experience to pull off a picture perfect work, but if their PRIDE 19 match was a work then they had me fooled too... and all the more credit to them then .
I don't think the fight was worked, but I'm a lot more suspicious about their pre-match antics: it gave the match a whole lot more heat, benefited both of them and they'd already pulled the same kind of thing in their tag-match against Muto and Takada at the Inoki Bom-Ba-Ye.

Frye was talking smack on how the shamrock family dosn't get along with each other (there adopted father bob, frank, and ken all don't get along) and if i remember correctly frye went out on a limb and said frank could kick ken's butt if im not mistaken. Ken was ****ed because it's his family business and not Frye's so that added fuel to the fire.
also as far as the pre-show antics, up until the pre-fight press conference during The B.E.S.T. event it was supposidly A work, but at that press conference it got all to real.
Oh yeah! I remember now... I did read on some site that Frye had said that frank and the entire division could beat ken who wasn't the shadow of what he once was, even if ken was a heavyweight... I don't know if it was true (seems exagerated) but all american wrestling sites don't have a clue about Pride stuff so the posted it anyways!
