Some IWA Title help needed

Looking at your site here for the IWA (IWE) title I see this:

Mighty Inoue 74/10/07 Saitama

How did the site come up with the city, that I see this everywhere on the net?

I have this for my record book of Billy. Granted I know this tour is not complete as I am missing a few dates. But my question is on the city itself for the title change.

If anyone else has any matches from this tour, that I do not have. I would be very grateful to get them.

I just looked it up and in my copy of Wrestling Title Histories (4th edition) which Hisa as his main source it says "Saitama" as well. Hm.
Now while there is a city called Saitama City, it wasn't around in 1974. The city was actually formed in 2001, when the cities of Urawa, Omiya and Yono merged. So I'm tempted to think that the site listed in your record book might be correct and that it says "Saitama" because, well, Koshigaya is actually in the Saitama prefecture. But that's just my take.

I follow what your saying, and it makes sense to me. Thanks for your input into this. I am going to leave my city name the way it is, so it stays correct for the time period the match took place.

Yup, Koshigaya is a city in Saitama Prefecture. Saitama City didn't exist until few years ago. Maybe I should change the location to be more accurate.
