When I was a kid (in Japan, that is), I was told not to stare at people in a black Benz. Seriously.

lol I know ALL about that. I'm from the Chicago area natively and when I was a kid we were "allowed" to wear certain colors in certain parts of town.

I read that friends of Kimura who may or may not have been "connected", offered to kill Rikidozan for him due to Riki not following the original plan of the match.

Is there any truth to that?

I'm not even sure how you got that idea by reading the article. Rikidozan's death was years after the Kimura match.

I didn't get that from reading the article.

I was watching the Rikidozan vs Kimura match on youtube and in the comments section someone said what I posted as well as saying that Kimura declined the offer but had a "vision" that Rikidozan would die a violent death.
