Shinji Sasazaki

I was wondering about Kensuke Sasaki's first opponent, Shinji Sasazaki. Last time I heard of him was in the USWA as The Samurai. Any idea on when he retired from the ring?

I remember seeing him as a jobber occasionally on WCW and WWF after his USWA run. Not sure exactly what year he retired. When Anjo went to LA to challenge Rickson Gracie, he was escorted by Sasazaki who had already been retired by then.

I believe he was/is a sushi chef in Nashville.

My guess it was probably around 1991, since by then, Sasazaki was helping guys in the Tennessee area get booked in UWFi.
