I would love to confess my faith in my Lord, Jesus Christ.

    I have been raised a Christian since I was a small boy. And accepted Jesus as my savior when in college. It was not until I was in my late 30's when my third child was born that I had to really turn to Jesus and give my whole trust and faith over to him.

    I was in the gym working out after my son Shaver was born in 1987. I noticed a bump on my biceps, that changed color when I was working out. I ended up going to the doctor and he took a biopsy of the growth. It came back "CANCER" It was a tumor like those found in lymphoma. The doctor tested it twice and two opinions came back as cancer. I can still remember the exact time that I was driving to the doctor to meet him again and for him to recommend me to go to a cancer specialist. I was driving across a bridge over the interstate highway in Jackson Mississippi where I was living at the time. I slowed down and prayed

    "Lord if you can help me. If you can see fit to get over this cancer and take it away. I want to live and give my son a chance to get to know him. If you do give me this chance, then I will rededicate myself to you Lord. I will do something for you and put you first in my life."

    I went to the cancer specialist and talked to him and he got my records to study. A week latter he called me and told me that "he was just not going to call it cancer!" I fell down on my knees and thanked God for his blessing and a second chance. I knew that He (Jesus) had answered my prayers. After two people had called it cancer, I prayed that prayer, the cancer, changed or disappeared. I don't know how are for sure what happened, but I do know this.

    God answered my prayer. That is a fact. Now 14 years latter I have gotten to know Shaver and also his younger brother Samuel that is 11. No one knows for sure what and how things changed, but I know through faith, that God answered my prayer and changed my life.

    Now I want to concentrate on doing more for Him. That is why I would like to use this testimony to help others to know the power of prayer and the fact that Jesus has a plan for each and everyone of us. God bless.

On 2017/07/29, I had an opportunity to meet Mr. Hansen in person and confirm the above testimony was indeed written by him. I also asked him to sign his autograph in my Japanese Bible.
